An individual-based certification that confirms verified identity and the right to work in Sweden - for a safer, more transparent labor market.
Verified Workforce is an individual-based certification that ensures a person has a verified identity and the right to work in Sweden. The certification strengthens employer accountability, reduces the risk of labor market crime, and simplifies for contracting parties to ensure that the workforce is legal, controlled, and secure.
By linking the certification to the individual, a flexible and transparent handling of the workforce's legal status is created. The certification can be used as a basis for industry cards, competence databases, and may, after approval from Sistec, be shared by the employer with third parties.

For an individual to be certified, the following checks must have been conducted with approved results.
Completed and approved Right to Work check.
Authenticity check of ID documents and documents proving the right to work in Sweden.
Facial recognition comparison between the individual and the portrait photo on the ID document.
Verified identity, citizenship, and right to work in Sweden.
Work permit check with Migrationsverket.
Posting check with Arbetsmiljöverket.
A1 certificate check (for posted workers within the EU/EEA).
For an employer to use the Verified Workforce certification for an employee, the following is required:
All checks are conducted and documented.
The certification is issued by Sistec or by a party approved by Sistec.
The individual has been informed about the purpose and use of the certification.
The Verified Workforce certification can be shared with third parties. This is done by the employer inviting third parties to a selective login with limited viewing permissions.
The employer chooses which certified individuals will be visible to third parties. This login only displays the following information:
Basic identity information about the certified individual.
That the individual has been checked according to Right to Work.
That the individual has obtained Verified Workforce certification.
That the individual has the right to work in Sweden.
This feature enables secure, transparent, and controlled information sharing in, for example, procurements, project deliveries, or collaborations with external parties.
Contracting parties can require that all workers performing work under an agreement must have a valid Verified Workforce certification. This can be specified in procurement documents or agreements with suppliers.
"All individuals performing work under this assignment must hold a valid Verified Workforce certification, issued by Sistec or by a party approved by Sistec. The certification must be presented upon request, and the supplier must provide a digital tool where this can be verified."
