Valid passport
The passport must be issued in the country where you are a citizen.

Citizens outside EU/EEA/Schengen

Documents proving the right to work in Sweden:

Valid work and residence permit
Expired work and residence permit together with documentation from the Migration Agency showing that you have an ongoing extension case (including your reference number).

Alternatives

Swedish citizens

Driver's license in combination with being able to log in to the Swedish Tax Agency's website and show a personal certificate where Swedish citizenship is stated.

EU citizens

National ID card issued in the country where you are a citizen.
